On February 12, 2009, DMF and Impact Foundation partnered with nonprofits in the region to raise money through the Giving Hearts Day online fundraising event. During the twenty-four hour event, more than $701,000 was raised through www.impactgiveback.org. DMF provided an additional $285,000 in match and incentive funding, for a grand total of $986,000 raised for health-related programs in our region.
