Medical expenses continue to be the leading cause of bankruptcy in the U.S. The support of neighbors, friends and families in Cass and Clay counties means those with life-threatening or debilitating illness can focus on healing — and worry less about the burden of expense related to their care and treatment.

Let us help 

Our experienced program director will walk you through it all, so you spend less time running into obstacles and more time raising money. You may also apply for DMF Lend A Hand matching funds of up to $5,000 that will inspire people to give more.

We offer benefit organizers a site for online giving, and 100% of every dollar donated online is distributed to families. It’s the same for donations given to the Lend A Hand program itself because Dakota Medical Foundation, founder of this program, underwrites the entire cost of administering and managing this program.
