Organizational effectiveness has been defined as the ability of an organization to fulfill its mission through sound management, strong governance and a persistent rededication to achieving results. Effective nonprofits are mission-driven, adaptable, customer-focused, entrepreneurial, outcomes-oriented and sustainable.
Several assessment tools are available on this site to assess your organization's strengths and weaknesses in the above areas. A library of organizational effectiveness resources is also available to assist you in strengthening areas of weakness.
If your organization would like to apply for funding to support organizational effectiveness activities, please see "Apply for a DMF OE Grant" in this section.
