The Prescription Assistance Program (PAP)provides application assistance for low-income persons eligible for free or reduced-cost prescription drugs from pharmaceutical companies. PAP advocates on behalf of clients who find it financially difficult to obtain needed medications. PAP works directly with healthcare providers and pharmaceutical companies to help countless individuals obtain prescription medications at reduced or no-cost. PAP does not charge a fee for its services.

DMF has provided over $755,000 to support the Prescription Assistance Programs over the past ten years.

- Over 4,300 low-income people have completed 22,000 applications for medications
- $7 million worth of prescriptions have been accessed
by applicants - 27% of eligible applicants work full-time jobs
- Age groups served:
2% - Under 18 24% - 18-44 49% - 45-65 25% - Over 65
